The Liberty 5K is a chip timed run on a certified course that takes runners through Nostalgic Downtown Morris and area parks and neighborhoods. The route is completely paved, and primarily flat with slight hills.
5k Start Time: 7:30pm
The Liberty 5k not only supports and honors local military personnel, but involves them in the event. But military involvement is just one of the keys to the success of this event. The Liberty 5K boasts a pre-race flyover, kids runs, an after party, special awards for military personnel, cash awards and great give aways for all participants.
